Personality

Like both of his namesakes; Albus Severus has a sort of teenage fascination with the Dark Arts that he's keeping mostly a secret. He doesn't put any weight on actual blood status; he's aware that both his father and Severus Snape (two of the greatest wizards who ever lived, in his estimation) were both Half-Bloods. He puts his emphasis on pure knowledge and skill and thinks that wizards should be classed according to power and skill level. The most advanced wizards, (the smartest and the elite) take on the positions of power whereas the less skilled yet hard working wizards take positions in servitude.

He doesn't much care for the Hufflepuffs.

Potter is a quiet, at times arrogant boy who prefers to go by his middle name (Severus). He's not nearly as spirited or sports orientated as his brother. Severus sometimes feels like he'll forever live in the shadow of James Potter.

History

It was a bit of a shock to his mother and brother when he was sorted into Slytherin, but his father's words about how great wizards had come from Slytherin (and his own need to somehow stand out from his brother) that had stuck with him during the Sorting Ceremony, and with a certain sense of pride he glanced at James' shocked face before taking a seat at the Slytherin table.

He recieves top grades in most of his glasses, excelling especially in Defense Against the Dark Arts and Potions.

He sometimes feels like he doesn't fit in with the rest of his family, finding his mother's parents odd (but kind) and the emphasis on Quidditch in his household tiresome. He'd much rather be home with a good book then participating in the nearly annual Potter-Weasley trek to the Quidditch World cup. During said trips he spends most of his time with his Aunt Hermione (the only family member who he doesn't secretly think is a little bonkers.) She, at least, can usually suggest good books for him to read.

Voldemort

In Severus' sixth year, it is discovered that since the day he was born he was living with a dormant part of Lord Voldemort living inside of him. A series of events, including instruction in the Dark Arts by the portrait of Lucius Malfoy re-awakened the spirit of Voldemort living inside of him and, as a result, Severus became Lord Voldemort--taking on followers; reopening the Chamber of Secrets and going after the Deathly Hallows. He was eventually stopped by Teddy Lupin, with the aid of Severus Snape's portrait, Scorpius & Lucius Malfoy (portrait).

However, Severus still lives with Voldemort in his mind and is constantly struggling with the control Voldemort has over him...
